Check the Venue Requirements First
Ask the venue whether confetti is permitted and whether there are restrictions on materials, colors or where it may be used. An outdoor location and an indoor display may have different cleanup and handling requirements. Include these requirements when discussing the product.
Specify Material, Shape and Color
Paper and metallic foil products should not be treated as interchangeable. State the material you want and provide your preferred shape, cut dimensions and color mix. Request a sample so the appearance can be assessed under the intended lighting.
Confirm Claims for the Selected Material
Do not assume that every paper confetti product has the same environmental properties. If a project requires a specific material claim, ask for documentation that applies to the exact product. Keep that requirement in the written specification.
Plan Pack Quantities and Cleanup
Specify the weight or quantity per pack, total order size and retail presentation. Discuss handling and cleanup with the venue. Keep confetti use separate from any launcher or other equipment unless compatibility has been confirmed for that product.
